Who we are
Site Sorted (“we”, “us”) is a trading name of Site Sorted Agency Limited. We’re responsible for the personal information described here. If you have any questions, email [email protected] or contact us.
What we collect
- Free preview: your website address, name, email and phone number (if you give it).
- Contact form: your name, email address, business name, website and message.
- When you’re a customer: the details and content you share so we can build and look after your website (such as business information, logos, photos and wording), plus the details we need to invoice you.
- Server logs: our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP addresses and pages requested) to keep the site secure and working.
This website doesn’t use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To design your free preview, send it to you and talk to you about it.
- To reply to your messages.
- To build, host and look after your website, and to make the changes you ask for.
- To invoice you and keep the records the law requires.
We don’t sell your information, and we won’t send you marketing you haven’t asked for.
Our legal basis
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), we use your information because it’s in our legitimate interests to respond to enquiries and preview requests, because we need it to perform our contract with you, or because we have a legal obligation, for example to keep accounting records.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run Site Sorted, such as our website host, form provider, email, payment and accounting tools, and the AI tools we use to analyse and build websites. They only use your information to provide their service to us.
Some of these providers may store information outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK’s International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and preview requests for no longer than we need to, so we can follow up and help if you come back to us. We keep customer and invoice records for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting, usually six years.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to how we use it, or to send it to you or someone else in a portable format. Just email [email protected]. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we use your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
